Catherine and Kristen (the real people) spend the majority of their waking hours online (which depresses them to type). The've also both worked for major media corporations. After dozens of conversations about the hellscape that is the internet, they decided to turn their criticisms about content into content that’s comedy.

Kristen is a writer and comedian based in New York City. She has studied comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Magnet Theater since Fall 2013 and currently writers for the Magnet house sketch team, The Executives, which can be seen performing every Friday. She has performed in festivals across the country and basements across New York City.

Catherine is a UCB-trained comedian and writer with clips in places like Jezebel, Deadspin, McSweeney’s, Reductress and more. She recently created and hosted an investigative podcast about the McDonald's Szechuan Sauce debacle of 2017 that cracked Apple’s New and Noteworthy section. Her work has been written up in The New York Times, Vice, A.V. Club, Nerdist, Neiman Lab, and more.

Matthew Strickland

Matthew is a filmmaker and comedian living in Brooklyn. He's the host of The Roast of History at Union Hall and he's produced content for The New York Times, Vice, Discovery, PBS and is currently the writer/producer of MTV's 420 theater.
